A 25 year old Eldorado man, Brennan L. Unthank, is dead following a traffic crash Friday night around 8:12pm. According to the preliminary crash investigation, Unthank was traveling northbound on U.S. 45, approaching Cook Road, when his 2007 Chevy Silverado ran off the right side of the roadway traveling several feet before overturning and coming to rest on its top. Unthank was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Illinois State Police were assisted on the scene by the Eldorado Police Department, Saline County Sheriff’s Department, Eldorado Fire Department, Deconess Ambulance Service, and Jones Towing.
