MT. VERNON ILL, February 13- The 2020 Mt. Vernon Market Days season will kick off on Saturday May 9th from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Veteran’s Park. New this year, Market Days now occur on the second Saturday of each month between May and September. This season’s dates are May 9th, June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, and September 12th. Moving to the second Saturday this season will avoid conflicts with the July 4th holiday and allow use of the entire Rolland Lewis Community Building for indoor vendors each month. Both vendors and visitors to the market have exponentially grown each season and we are looking forward to another successful year!
Market Days are Mt. Vernon’s very own indoor and outdoor flea market and vendor fair. A variety of vendors sell items such as jewelry, hair bows, sports collectibles, kettle corn, plants, toys, home décor, lawn art, blacksmith items, pet products, antiques, purses, flea market finds, baked goods, and more. Vendors will be located both inside the Rolland Lewis Building and outdoors lining both sides of the walking path. Admission is free and Billy Bob’s BBQ will be offering concessions.
