The White County Board will meet Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The Board will consider donations to the Carmi White County Senior Citizens for $4,500 and Grayville, Norris City and Enfield Senior Citizens for $900 each. They will discuss a resolution for setting salaries for elected officials, consider fuel bids for County highway, ambulance and Sheriff’s Department, consider a letter continuing making IllinoiSouth Tourism as the State Certified Tourism bureau for White County, consider the resignation of Mike Frashier to the Rides Mass Transit Board, consider Chris Birkla to the Rides Mass Transit Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mike Frashier, and consider a resolution for Membership in the IL State Association of Counties. An executive session will follow. There will also be updates and reports from County Officers and comments from visitors. The next meeting will be March 10, at 7:00 PM.
