The public is reminded that White County Soil and Water Conservation District’s 74th Annual Meeting will be held tonight, Thursday, February 6, at the Floral Hall of the fairgrounds. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m.
A free fish, chicken strip and all the sides dinner will be catered by McPeak Fish Market. Three Directors will be elected, and awards will be presented to winners of the District’s annual Poster Contest and to the Conservationist of the Year. Numerous door prizes donated by area businesses will be given away. Representatives from the Invenergy White County Solar Energy Center will present information on a project proposed for a solar power generation facility.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the SWCD Annual Meeting is this evening at the Floral Hall of the White County fairgrounds.
