The Indiana Department of Transportation announces intermittent lane restrictions on U.S. 41 near the Indiana/Kentucky border beginning on or around Thursday, Dec. 17.
Earth Exploration Inc., a geotechnical consulting service from Indianapolis will be in the area performing pavement cores from Cheatum Slough to just south of I-69 on U.S. 41, both northbound and southbound. Work is expected to begin at 9 a.m. local time Dec. 17 and take two days, depending upon weather conditions.
During that time, motorists can expect intermittent lane restrictions for a few hours at a time. Traffic will not be restricted in both directions at the same time.
