The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Flora last night at home, 67-35.

Addi Elliott led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 24 points.
Torrie Rider scored 14.
Caroline Simmons scored 12.
Nataie Goemaat scored 7.
Callie Miller scored 5.
Ella Newell scored 3.
Jaya Smith scored 2.

CWC improves to 7-3 on the year and 4-0 in the Black Diamond Conference. They will host Olney on Tuesday.

The CWC Wrestlers fell to Fairfield last night, 53-24.

Travor Mason, Nolan Garner, Kale Wiggins, Javan Agan, and Nolan Aud all picked up wins for the Bulldogs. 

Carmi is now 1-3 on the season, they will take part in the Marion Duels Tournament tomorrow.

The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team will host Flora tonight at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium for a Black Diamond Conference battle. The Bulldogs enter tonight’s game with a 4-2 record after defeating NCOE on Tuesday. Flora on the other hand is still looking for their first win of the season. 

Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. 

Fans who do attend tonight’s ball game are encouraged to take part in the Maroon Platoon’s 11th Annual Silent Night Game. Fans are to dress in their best Christmas attire, and remain silent from the opening tip until the Bulldogs score their 6th point. 

Numerous CWCHS athletes were named to SICA All-South teams this earlier week.

Lauren Burzynski, Caroline Simmons, Ashlyn Rager, and Jaya Smith were named to the All-South Volleyball Team.

Aidan Willis and Maxon O’Daniel were named to the All-South Golf Team. 

Noah Pollard, Eli Bryant, and Kade Stockton were named to the All-South Football team. 

Congratulations to these CWC Athletes on a tremendous honor.
