Terry Lincoln Hunt, age 74 and resident of Dale, IL, passed away at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN on February 24, 2024 at 6:00 a.m.
Terry was born September 17, 1949 in Eldorado, IL (Saline County) to Adrian Lincoln Hunt and Juanita Jean (Smith) Hunt. He married Phyllis Womack on April 27, 1996. Terry was the owner/operator of Hunt’s Hardware in Dale, IL for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis Hunt of Dale; 2 Daughters, Whitney Hatfield and husband Brian of Chesterfield, MO and Alicia-Hunt Ketterman and husband James of Eugene, Mo; Step-daughter Rebecca Bridewell and husband Terry of Galatia, IL; Step-Son Vince Jones and wife Joni of McLeansboro, IL; 2 Sisters, Georgianna Sutton and husband Michael of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Dorris Housewright of O’Fallon, MO.
7 Grandchildren, Joseph Levi Bridewell, Riley Kennon Jones, James Austin Bridewell, Noah Robert Hatfield, Delaney Elizabeth Jones, Sydney Margaret Hatfield and Emery Dawn Jones.
Preceding Terry in Death were his parents and his brother Larry Hunt.
Memorials may be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will be accepted at the Church or at Harre Funeral Home in Memory of Terry.
Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, IL is in charge of Terry’s arrangements.
Visitation Service is scheduled 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at Ten Mile Baptist Church and Funeral Service is Noon Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Ten Mile Baptist Church. The Church doors will open at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Rodney Brock will officiate the service. Burial Service will be in Digby Cemetery, Dale, IL.
