Steven Walter Woodham, 77, of Grayville, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born June 25, 1946, in Princeton, Indiana, the son of Walter and Frances (Aker) Woodham.

Steve was a tool and die maker and a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was passionate about being an auto mechanic, and he enjoyed restoring cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, street rods, attending the Frog Follies car show, and belonging to car clubs.

Survivors include step-son William (Michelle) Jones of Oakland City, Indiana; daughter Katrina Arnold of Evansville, Indiana; step-daughters Shaynnon (Joe) Davis of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Samantha Potts of St. Francisville, Illinois; brother Gary Woodham of Grayville, Illinois; sisters Lenora Kay Beckett of Grayling, Michigan, Susan (Tony) Levingston of Grayville, Illinois; grandchildren Terra Meece, Michael Meece, Dylan Arnold; great-grandchildren Tayerra, Gracie, Aiden, Trenton, and Tashon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Jeff Woodham; and step-son James Jones.

In keeping with Steve’s wishes, his remains were cremated. Visitation and memorial service are Friday, June 7, 2024, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville, Illinois. Visitation is at 5 pm and memorial service is at 6 pm. Military Honors will be rendered following the memorial service on the parking lot of Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville, Illinois.
