Stanley Fields “Stan” Hart
1942 - 2024

Stanley Fields "Stan" Hart, of Enfield, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on August 13, 1942, in Brownsville, Illinois, the son of Glendall Dale and Frances Elaine (Miller) Hart. Stan worked in the oil field and later as a truck driver, retiring from Roundy's in Eldorado, IL. He was a member of the McLeansboro Elks and Son of the American Legion in Springerton. Stan loved horseback riding and trail rides, and he was a big rodeo fan! He enjoyed attending and watching basketball games, particularly high school basketball! He enjoyed collecting Amish buggies and wagons. Stan was quite the jokester and had a knack for telling humorous stories, He had a nickname for everyone!

Stan is survived by children, Teresia Lynn Mitchell Hart of Evansville, IN, Lawrence Stanley Hart of Enfield, IL. and Daniel Levi Hart of McLeansboro, IL; longtime companion, Brenda Garrett of Enfield, IL; grandchildren, Kendall John Lacy, Kendrick Landon Lacy, Amanda Garrett, April Hollman, Kyle Garrett, Krystal Garrett, Gregor Garrett and Aubrey Steele; great-grandchildren, Khi'elle Lacy, Prestyn Dawn Hart, Paxtyn Jawn Hart, Nyla Marie Hart, Lexi Mahoney, Kayson Garrett, Savannah Irvin, Caleb Irvin, Ava Irvin and Scarlett Garrett; great-great-grandchildren; Garrett Hollman, Graham Hollman and Georgia Hollman; siblings, Dana Dale Smith of Enfield, IL, Ruth Ann Hart of Enfield, IL, Roger Wayne Hart of Duncan, OK. and Jeanie Beth Palmiter of Enfield, IL; He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Larry Lee Hart and Myra Lynn Stevens.

Services will be held at a later date. Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield is in charge of arrangements.
