Shirley A. Wyke, 87, of Grayville, Illinois, died Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Parkview Care Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born June 1, 1936, in Scott City, Missouri, the daughter of Martin and Anise (Shedelbower) Rahmoeller. She was married to Vincent Wyke, and he preceded her in death.
Shirley was a retired coal miner and a member of the Zion United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include son David Johnson of Evansville; grandchildren Beth (Jay) Mitchell of Evansville, Brandy French of Evansville, Alysha (Cody) McDonald of Salem, Alabama, Kimberly (Tim) Huber of Newburgh, Indiana; great-grandchildren Heaven, Justice, DeVon, Trystan, Natalie; great-great-grandchild Irys; and sister-in-law Mary Helen Rahmoeller of Grayville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Lynda French; grandchild Brody McDonald; brothers James, John and Joe Rahmoeller.
Visitation and funeral are Friday, January 19, 2024, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville, Illinois. Visitation is 10 am to 12 noon, with funeral at 12 noon. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Brownsville School and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville, Illinois.
