John David Myers, 80, of Carmi, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Illinois. He was born on November 28, 1944, in Carmi, the son of Arthur Maurice "Si" and Beatrice Elizabeth (Hall) Myers.

Ruby Charlene Maurer, 85, of Dahlgren, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Silver Foxes Senior Living and Rehabilitation in McLeansboro.

She was born on June 14, 1939 in Decatur to Raymond Oliver Dyer, Sr. and Edna Jewel Dyer.

     Nancy L. (Holmes) Ledford of Carmi, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born on November 29, 1953, the daughter of Frank and Joanne Holmes of Dahlgren, Illinois. Nancy attended McLeansboro High School. She was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed going to the American Legion baseball games. Nancy also liked attending the Eldorado Holiday Tournament when she was able. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and playing bingo at Wabash Christian Senior Living. The delight in her eyes was her great-granddaughter.

Easton Cruz Beaver, infant son of Ashton (Parks) and Dylan Beaver of Eldorado was born peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN.  

Robert Lee Thompson, 77, of McLeansboro, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 11:21 a.m. at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born on December 18, 1947 to Millage & Edith Thompson of McLeansboro.

Mary Anna Haile, 91, of Belle Rive, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:57 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL. Mary was born on July 5, 1933 in Hoopeston, IL, the daughter of Grant & Ruth (Cooper) Gocking.

Larry David Schnicker, Sr., 77, of McLeansboro, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

He was born as a twin in Dahlgren, IL to Gene & Katherine Schnicker on October 19, 1947. 

Nathan Michael Buchanan, 49, of Carmi, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Staci Dawn Murphy, 57, of Springerton, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on August 8, 1967, in Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of Kendall and Sandra (Flannigan) Carter.

Larry Floyd Heil, 76, of Norris City, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, KY.  He was born May 22, 1948 in Pekin, IL to Floyd & Ruie Heil.
