Gary Michael Conrady, 73, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Gary was born on November 22, 1950 in Mansfield, Ohio.

Mickie Lee Collard, 70, of Grayville, Illinois, died Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living and Rehabilitation in Carmi, Illinois. She was born November 22, 1953, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the daughter of Jesse and Imalee “Vern” (Rudisill) Robbins. She married Jimmy Ray Collard on May 25, 1973, and her survives.

Dennis R. Campbell, 81, of Eddyville, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.

Donald Eugene Aydt, age 82, a resident of Belle Prairie, IL. passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital E.R. in McLeansboro, IL.

     Doug Nelson, 59, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1965, in Mitchell, South Dakota, the son of Bruce and Patricia (Edwards) Hildebrand. Doug worked in tire sales at Raben Tire, and later in ATV and tire sales at MTA and most recently at Super Grip of Bristol, TN. He enjoyed the many friendships he developed with the ATV racers they sponsored. Doug loved to hunt with his sons, but really wanted to be out in nature and fall asleep against a tree. He enjoyed the yearly pheasant hunt with extended family in Letcher, South Dakota at his cousin Steve and Roxanne Larson's family farm. He also encouraged all his children and grandchildren to play sports and helped with coaching when they were young. He never missed a game. He also enjoyed watching and setting off fireworks on the 4th of July. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. 

Roy F. McCord, 81, of Carmi passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born May 16, 1943 in Makanda, IL the son of Frank and Helen (Moore) McCord. Roy faithfully served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War for which he was awarded a Silver Star and Purple Heart.

Donna Jean McCord, 76, of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. She was born on May 7, 1947, in Carmi, Illinois, the daughter of Archie and Lillian (Mick) Brown.

Curtis Ray Sneed, 87, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living and Rehab in Carmi. He was born on November 21, 1936, in Hamilton County, the son of Robert and Angie (Smith) Sneed.

Ronald Wayne Duncan, 71, of Grayville, Illinois, died Monday, September 2, 2024, at his home. He was born September 12, 1952, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Francis Cecil Duncan and Marie Elizabeth (Libke) Duncan.

Roger Bruce Legg, 78, of Grayville, Illinois, died Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Meadowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayville, Illinois. He was born March 16, 1946, in Princeton, Indiana, the son of Harvey K. and Georgia H. (Trefny) Legg.
