1954 - 2024

Norman Dale Midkiff, aged 70, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Tucson, AZ. Born on August 28, 1954, Norman was known for his dedication as a husband, his generous and loving nature, and being the original 'Girl Dad'.

Norman graduated from Carmi High School and soon after, served with distinction in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he channeled his passion for mechanics into a successful career, owning and operating his own auto shop for many years.

Norman had a love for racing cars, driving boats, and steering dune buggies across the rugged landscapes he so loved. His adventurous spirit was matched by his unwavering presence in the lives of those he cared about, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Terry Midkiff, and a large, loving family including his daughters Christina Wilpers (Ethan), Niki Larry (Sean), Stacy Machen (Keith), Tera Quigley (Darren), Christy Lopez (Richard), stepdaughter Rebecca Caudle, stepsons Daniel Webb (Aleysha) and Cliff Webb; brother, Robert Midkiff (Pat); grandchildren Candis (Bryan), Rachel(Kenny),Stephanie(Scott), Richard, Ashley, Kayla(Sean), Elizabeth Sage, Samantha(Joe), Sabrina(Jake), Tyler, Cole, Courtney(Garret) and Avery; great grandchildren Monroe, Claire, Kayden, Devin, Connor, Noah, Atticuss, Jacob II, Amias, Amora, Graham, and Olivia who will miss his guidance and playful spirit.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Ozna and Edna-May Midkiff, siblings Willard Midkiff, Darren Midkiff, and Burma Anderson, and his wife, Elizabeth Midkiff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary on November 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, where family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Norman are welcome to honor his memory.

Norman's life was a vivid tapestry of dedication, joy, and kinship, deeply rooted in his love for family. He left an indelible mark on all who knew him, and his legacy of love, laughter, and familial bonds will be cherished and remembered always.
