Nola M. Guinn, 83, of Crossville, Illinois, died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Hamilton County Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, Illinois.  She was born October 10, 1940, in Livingston, Tennessee, the daughter of Ausby and Pearl (Taylor) Taylor.  She was married to Samuel Thomas Guinn on October 10, 1958, and he preceded her in death in March of 1992.

Nola enjoyed her family, puppy dogs, flowers, hummingbirds, and her church.

Survivors include sons Gary Guinn of Crossville, Illinois, Tommy Guinn of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; daughters Terisa Owen of Carmi, Illinois, Lisa (Charles) McConnell of Mt. Vernon; brother Shirley Taylor of Crossville; sisters Billie (Byrl) Mullins of Crossville, Barb Fleck of Carmi, Linda (Steve) Chambers of Jasper, Indiana, Carolyn Hammond of Crossville, Cathy (Brian) Schmidt of Mt. Vernon, Lavonda (Jerry) Tate of Effingham, Illinois;

Grandchildren Jeremy Owen, Justin (Felicia) Owen, Amanda (Terry) Warren, Derek (Sarah) Spicer, Brandy Brass, Brooke (Austin) Stizman; great-grandchildren Brantley Owen, Boe Owen, Brie Owen, Hunter Warren, Riley Warren, Tyson Spicer, Lexi Chipps, Levi Brass, and Addison Sitzman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Michael and Terry Guinn; brothers Jack Taylor, Jimmy (Gloria) Taylor, and Kenneth Taylor.

Visitation and funeral are Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville, Illinois.  Visitation is at 12 noon and funeral is at 1 pm. Burial is in Stokes Chapel Cemetery near Crossville, Illinois.
