Kyle Moles, 91, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Kyle was born on June 6, 1933 in Sneedville, TN to Dewey & Emily (Standifer) Moles.
Kyle worked as a truck driver and had previously worked as a farmhand. He was also a Corporal in the United States Army. He was a Master Mason and a member of Polk Lodge #137 in McLeansboro, a member of the American Legion Post #106 in McLeansboro, and a member of Lick Creek Church in McLeansboro. He loved old cars, and going to car shows. He also enjoyed traveling and woodworking. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Kyle is survived by his niece Gena (Russel) Essary of Broughton, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
Funeral services for Kyle Moles will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Reverend Dr. Ken Cook officiating. An evening visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024. A morning visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral service at Glenview Memorial Gardens in McLeansboro with graveside military honors by the McLeansboro American Legion Post #106 and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors Team of Marion, IL.
