Guy Benjamin TurpinEldorado, IL

Guy Benjamin Turpin, 65, of Eldorado, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Ascension St. John in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was born on September 2, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Jerry Lee and Kerin Jane (DeBoard) Turpin. Guy worked in the oilfield and was a maintenance manager of properties in Arizona. He was a member of the Carmi Church of Christ. Guy enjoyed writing poetry, playing guitar, writing songs, making jewelry and fishing. He loved spending time reading his Bible.

     Guy is survived by his parents Jerry and Kerin Turpin of Eldorado, IL; children, Joshua Grant Turpin, Karen Yvonne Taber-Schmittler, Sarah Kay Goldman; step-children, Dawn Marie Limon and Richard Allen Comstock; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;  his fiance, Rachel Warden; a sister, Lee Ann McDaniel; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by a son Robert Carl Turpin; and a brother, Jeff Turpin.

      Funeral services for GuyTurpin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, with burial at I.O.O.F. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
