Dale Frankie Frashier, 88, of Carmi, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. He was born on February 13, 1936, in Rising Sun, Illinois, the son of Earl and Ethel (James) Frashier. Dale was a member of Maunie Methodist Church. He worked as a Tool and Die maker for Babcock and Wilcox and later drove a school bus and raised hogs. Dale enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Dale is survived by his children, Larry D. (Kay) Frashier of Carmi, IL. and Ginger (Sam) Blazier of Bunnlevel, NC; grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Frashier, Jackie (Jill) Puntney, Sandy (Mark) Sitzman, Megan Knight and Samantha Peterson; several great-grandchildren; and several great great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Dartt and Cleta King; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Kenny Frashier, Clifford Frashier, Jack Frashier and Glen Frashier. Funeral services for Dale Frankie Frashier will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, with burial at Marshall Ferry Cemetery in Rising Sun. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Maunie Methodist Church, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
