Coleton Nathaniel Foley, 17, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Coleton was born in Newburgh, IN on July 17, 2006, the son of Josh Foley and Jennifer (Ingram) Vickers.

Coleton was a Senior at Hamilton County Unit #10 High School who loved hunting, fishing, and archery. He attended Real Life Church in Fairfield, IL.  He was a loving son, brother, and grandson who always looked on the bright side of life.  He took pride in the fact that he looked like his late uncle, Nathan Ingram.  Coleton loved to make people laugh.  He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Coleton is survived by his father: Josh (Megan) Foley of Wayne City; his mother: Jennifer (Nathan) Vickers of McLeansboro; 4 brothers: Chance Foley and Grant Vickers, both of McLeansboro, and Jaxon and Beck Foley, both of Wayne City; several grandparents including a grandmother Kathy Ingram of Springerton, IL, a grandfather Darrel Ingram of Tennessee, grandparents Deneise (Ed) Foley of Wayne City, IL; grandparents Pat (Rick) Vickers of Broughton, IL; and Marty (Janean) Rawls of Wayne City; his uncles: Jeremy Cline of Fairfield, IL and Brian (Jamie) Isaacs of Fairfield; his aunts: Jamie Cline of Fairfield and Nicole Ingram of Flora; his great-grandparents: Kathern Rush of Springerton; Mary Jane Foley of Fairfield, Steve (Sharon) Peddicord of Wayne City; cousins: Emilee Cline, Libbee Cline, Brilynn Cline, Madilynn Cline, and Chase Isaacs; and his girlfriend: Malyiah Mayo of Carmi, IL.  Many more aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by an uncle Nathan Ingram, great-grandfather Carroll C. Rush, great-grandfather Kenny Foley, and great-grandmother Ruby Irvin Hall.

Funeral services for Coleton Nathaniel Foley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church near McLeansboro with Pastor Ed Foley and Brother Curt Rush officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the funeral service at Springerton Cemetery in Springerton, IL.  Memorial donations may be made to Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church or at Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro, which is assisting the family with arrangements.
