Charles Lee Lenard, Jr, age 79, passed away at his residence at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, IL. Funeral Service is 11:00 A.M Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Harre Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Dale, IL
Charles was born October 22, 1944 in San Antonio, TX to Charles Lenard Sr and Hazel (Teague) Lenard. He married Elma Marie Cross November 11, 1966 in McLeansboro,, IL and she passed away August 24, 2021. He worked as a logger in the logging industry and he loved coon hunting and enjoying life with his wife.
Survivors include Daughters Robin (Lenard) Ziegler and husband Bruce, Opdyke, IL; Charlotte (Lenard) King of McLeansboro, IL; Son, B.J. Lenard and wife Tina, Akin, IL 9 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers and 5 Sisters
Charles was preceded in Death By his Parents and wife Elma.
