1941-2023

Frank Jacob Schumacher, age 82, passed away on November 25, 2023 in Whitney, Texas. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Whitney, Texas. Pastor Philip will officiate the ceremony. After the Memorial Service, there will be a lunch.

Frank was born on July 3, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank George Schumacher and Katherine Schumacher. He married the love of his life, Jerrie (Dobbs) Schumacher of Crossville, Illinois on September 17, 1966, and they were married for 57 years until his passing. Frank was a kind and easy going man. He loved to read, write, and keep up with the current events, as well as helping with the voting polls. Frank and Jerrie liked to play cards together. Working for Texaco, he only missed 1 day of work in 33 years. Frank graduated Holy Cross Grade School, High School Lutheran South, and graduated from college in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was also in the Army Reserves.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jerrie (Dobbs) Schumacher; sister, Rosalie Schumacher Calvin and husband Don of St. Louis, Missouri.; nephews, Dennis Calvin and wife Lori of St. Louis, Missouri and David Calvin and wife Amy of St. Petersburg, Florida; niece, Donna Calvin Auer and husband Wayne Auer of St. Louis, Missouri; great nephew, Jon Calvin and wife Ciara of St. Louis, Missouri; great- niece, Rachel Calvin of St. Louis Missouri; great-great nephew, Drew Auer of St. Louis, Missouri; great-great niece, Katie Auer of St. Louis, Missouri; brother in-laws, Jim Dobbs and wife Lana of Baird, Texas, Charlie Dobbs and wife Linda of Dunnellon, Florida, and Bill Dobbs and wife Keitha of Crossville, Illinois; nephews, David Dobbs and wife Irma of Edinburg, Texas and Travis Dobbs and wife Johnna of Jonesboro, Arkansas; niece, Angie Dobbs of Abilene, Texas; great-niece, Courtney Clagg and husband Josh of Gastonia, North Carolina; great-nephew, Lucas Dobbs of Crossville Illinois; great-niece, Shannon Syers of Grayville, Illinois; great-nephew, Justin Dobbs and wife Madelin of McAllen, Texas; great-niece, Robin Dobbs of Abilene, Texas; great-great nephew, Cooper Dobbs of Jonesboro, Arkansas; great-great niece, Dylan Dobbs of Jonesboro, Arkansas; great-great nieces, Carly Clagg and Quincy Clagg of Gastonia, North Carolina; great-great nephew, Ethan Dobbs of Crossville, Illinois; great-great niece, Halle Dobbs of Crossville, Illinois; great-great niece, Kimber Risely of Grayville, Illinois; and great-great niece, Piper Dobbs of Edinburg, Texas.
