Wabash Valley College is pleased to once again offer Community Choir for the Fall Semester.
Gary Hargett, Guest Director for the Choir this fall, extends an invitation to male and female vocalists, high school through senior citizens, to join the Choir. Rehearsals will be held from 6:45 – 8:30 p.m. each Monday evening in the Music Room (BAC 1) in the Brubeck Arts Center. The first meeting will be Monday, September 18, and will continue every Monday through November 27. Choir members are encouraged to attend the organizational meeting. Alison Dudley will be serving as rehearsal accompanist. The final day to sign up for the Choir is Monday, October 2.
The Choir will return to the Brubeck Theatre stage at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, to open this year’s Christmas Concert Showcase which will feature traditional, contemporary, classical, and novelty holiday songs. There will be a technical rehearsal on Saturday, December 2.
Also to be featured will be a second-act performance by The Browne Sisters. The entire Concert will be a joyful family and community way of starting the Christmas season.
Vocalists enrolled in the Choir will receive two semester hours credit. Registration may be completed at the first session.
