Wrong Plates Leads to Arrest
Running the wrong license plates on a vehicle is against the law, which a Carmi woman found out early this Wednesday morning.
Beth Ann Allen, 25, 502 James Ave, was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. after she was stopped for unlawful display of registration on a vehicle.
She was transported to the city county jail for processing, where she posted $150 cash bond and a $20 booking fee prior to her release from custody.
