November 14 is World Diabetes Day. In recognition of the day, the area Diabetes Today Resource Team (DTRT) will be sponsoring an event at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Various screenings will be available such as diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure and BMI. Also, educational resources will be available and giveaways will be held. Participants can register to win various gift baskets. All will be available at NO CHARGE. Fasting is required for 10 hours prior to the screening. Snacks will be provided.
