The Southern 14 Workforce Development Board will be hosting a series of rapid response workshops for those affected by the recent mass layoffs in the coal industry. Staff from the Illinois Department of Employment Security, Illinois Department of Insurance, Wabash Area Development, and Mid 5 Employment and Training will be on hand, as well as local employers, to answer questions
The workshops will be held on Tuesday, March 8th at the Union Hall in McLeansboro, Wednesday, March 9th at Southeastern Illinois College in room G120, and in Marion on Thursday, March 10th at Man-Tra-Con Corporation in Illinois Star Center Mall. Each workshop will have two sessions, 10am-noon and 1:30-3:30pm.
