For the first time in 28 years, Carmi-White County began the search to find a new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. The CWC Unit 5 Board of Education ended that search on Tuesday night, as they hired Clinton Wolff to be the next leader of the Bulldogs.
Wolff brings plenty of coaching experience to the position. He has spent the last 18 seasons as an assistant on Kurt Simon’s coaching staff. Outside of the gridiron, Wolff has had successful campaigns as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach from 2018-2024, and the CWC Boys Track Head Coach since 2016. Wolff led both teams to conference championships in 2024.
Wolff becomes the 33rd Head Coach in the history of CWCHS football.
Wolff will make his head coaching debut on August 30th when the Bulldogs host Johnston City for Week 1 of the 2025 Football Season.
