In another sign things are beginning to get back to normal, the White County Fair board is announcing it’s plans to move forward with the return of it’s week long event this August. The 2021 White County Fair will be held August 9th – 14th and will feature carnival rides, food vendors and traditional grandstand events. The group is settling on events which currently includes the Queen contest, harness horse racing, and two demolition derbys. Additionally, the fair board says they’re trying to lock down Go Kart racing for Wednesday night and expect to add a Tractor Pull on Friday of the Fair.
Also of note, the fairgrounds will be adding more roadway thanks to a partnership with the group that brings the Christmas lights display to the fairgrounds. Upcoming events at the fairgrounds include Boots, Bulls, and Country Music on June 19th and a monster truck show is planned for the fall.
