White County Court Sends Two to Prison
It was a busy day in White County Circuit Court Wednesday with two men sentenced to prison by the Honorable Judge T. Scott Webb.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud reported to WROY/WRUL News, the last of the three prisoners who had escaped from the City County Jail last year was sentenced to five years and nine months in the Department of Corrections on a Class Two felony charge of escape.
Justin Bray, 29 of Allendale will also serve two years mandatory supervised release.
Bray was represented by Jay Walden. The White County Sheriff’s Department was the lead investigating agency in the arrest of Bray. There were several other area agencies that participated in that investigation.
In another case, a Crossville man is heading to prison for driving while license revoked, a Class Four felony.
Stanley L. Griffin will serve one year mandatory supervised release. Brian Shinkle represented Griffin in White County Circuit Court. The White County Sheriff’s Department was the investigating agency in the case.
