The White County Board met Tuesday night at the White County Courthouse for their April meeting. Following reports from county officers, the Board was invited to attend a meeting in Flora by Hope Trust insurance to meet with other municipalities in the area using the service. The County moved its employee insurance to the company in January.
Stryker sales representative David Lee and Ambulance Service Director Adam Allen gave the Board a demonstration of new powered ambulance cots that can help reduce personnel costs and decrease risk of injury to ambulance personnel. The Board agreed to further look into the purchase at a later date.
The Board unanimously approved the sale of property through the Trustee Tax program.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm and the White County Board next meets May 9th at 7 pm.
