The White County Board became all Republican Tuesday night with Ron McAnulty’s win over incumbent Mike Ray for the District 2 seat. McAnulty received 54% of the vote in a well attended election. District 4 incumbent Republican Don Puckett was able to hold on to his seat, defeating Democratic challenger Tim Scates with 60% of the vote.
County wide, the GOP was a big winner. 70% of registered voters in White County cast ballots in Tuesday night’s election, and the Republicans came out on top in all contested races.
