The White County Board met Tuesday night for their regular November meeting. The meeting opened with the reconvening of the September meeting, where the 2018 budget was introduced. The Board approved the budget and tax levy as presented by unanimous vote.
For November business, the Board adopted the 2018 holiday schedule for county employees, and adopted a resolution in support of a future class action suit to address the opioid crisis.
The Board also approved a resolution and intergovernmental agreement for re-application for the Enterprise Zone and approved the annual renewal of a resolution to appropriate funds for the County Engineer salary.
Tim Barbre was appointed to the Randolph Drainage District #1 and Cindy Conley was appointed to the Illinois Bicentennial Commission.
A bid of $1000 was accepted for the sale of a 2003 Ford Ambulance that had not been used since 2014.
The meeting adjourned at 7:25, and the White County Board will meet again on December 12.
