Are you ready for an awesome time this summer meeting new friends and experiencing new things? We have two 4-H Camps for the southern region that offer tons of FUN!
Western Kentucky 4-H Camp in Dawson Springs, Kentucky will be June 6-9. Western Kentucky 4-H Camp is located one hour southeast of Paducah, Kentucky. This interactive camp offers hand on classes such as archery, rifle, canoeing, swimming, crafts, ropes courses, horseback riding, fishing, and more!
Southern Illinois 4-H Camp at DuBois Center in DuBois, IL will be June 12-15. DuBois Center offers horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, hiking, teambuilding, arts and crafts, swimming, and more water fun on the fabulous F-F-F (pronounced fuh, fuh, fuh) and the giant floating water mat!
Both camps will offer a new fee structure. We realize that our families each have unique circumstances at different times that affect the ability to pay for camp. For this reason we are implementing tiered pricing. Need a little extra help this year? Choose Tier I. Have the ability to help subsidize the cost for a family in need? Choose Tier III. This is an honor system. It will NOT impact a child’s camp experience.
Tier I-$169
Tier II-$199
Tier III-$229 +
We never want cost to be a barrier for a child to attend camp. If you need additional financial help, please contact your local Extension office. Additional local scholarships may be available in your unit.
Camp enrollment deadlines are May 1, 2016.
