Weekend Wrestling Results
The Carmi-White County wrestling team hosted a nine team fresh/soph tournament over the weekend at Washington Attendance Center.
There were no team scores, but the top three finishers in each weight class earned a medal. Participating teams, besides Carmi, were Carterville, Centralia, Fairfield, Goreville, Harrisburg, Edwardsville Metro East Lutheran, Red Bud and Robinson.
Carmi 152-pounder Blake Pollard won all four of his matches by pin to take first place in his weight class. Kit Harris, at 145, went 3-1 to take second place, while Gavin Brown was 2-2 and finished fourth at 126, and Ethan Whetstone wrestled at 195, but did not place.
The Bulldogs will have their senior night tonight against Fairfield and Goreville
