Wayne White Electric Linemen Headed To Florida In Preparation For Hurricane Dorian

A Wayne White Electric spokesman says lineman on behalf of the Cooperative are preparing to head to Florida due to the impending landfall of Hurrican Dorian.  Randy Olson says crews will help restore power in areas where major outages are expected to occur calling the assistance they’ll provide part of Wayne White’s unique business model.  The electric cooperative has already received proactive calls for assistance and Olson says they plan to answer that call.  The crew is leaving on Saturday.  As policy dictates, the company doesn’t reveal the identity of the linemen they’re sending until they reach home safely.  Wayne White provides electric service to portions of eleven counties throughout Southeastern Illinois and is a member of Hoosier Energy, the 12th largest Cooperative in the country.
