Wayne White Electric customers in McLeansboro, Wayne City, Enfield and the villages of Aden and Diamond City were left in the dark for about an hour last night. Officials say a transmission line went down at about 7:51pm and affected several hundred meters. Within 40 minutes, crews had all customers except Enfield back online and by 8:51, officials said everyone was back in service. No reason has been given for the outage.
