The Carmi Police Department took a report of defacement to property report on Thursday afternoon. Amy Craig reported that on Monday evening, someone sprayed black spray paint on several areas of her property on 1st Street, including the house.
Just before 8 pm Thursday, Carmi Police arrested 27 year old Jenny Ward of Crossville following a traffic stop at Hillsdale and Sycamore Streets. Ward was taken into custody for improper use of evidences of registration. She was transported to the White County Jail and later released after posting a $150 bond.
