April 24, 6 p.m. – The SIC Board of Trustees will meet in the Rodney J. Brenner Board Room at SIC.
April 24, 6:30-10 p.m. – Honors Night. SIC will be honoring students graduating with honors. The event will take place in the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center Theatre.
April 25, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. – SIC will host a job fair located at the Harrisburg Campus. Employers in multiple fields will be present. The event will be spread across Joseph C. April 25, 2 p.m. – Softball versus SWIC. The SIC softball team will take on Southwestern Illinois College in a double header.
April 28, noon – Baseball versus Wabash Valley. The SIC Baseball Falcons will take on Wabash Valley College in a double header.
May 1, 1 p.m. – Baseball versus McKendree University at Falcon Field.
May 3, 3 p.m. – Baseball versus John A. Logan College at Falcon Field.
May 5, noon – Baseball versus John A. Logan College at Falcon Field.
May 6, 1 p.m. – The 2018 SIC Student Art Portfolio Show reception will be held in the Southeastern Illinois College George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center upper lobby near the art gallery. The exhibit will run May 2 – July 31. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. when SIC is in session. May 6, 2 p.m. – Southeastern Illinois College Community Choir and Concert Choir present American Voices in the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center Theatre. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased through a choir member. For more information call 252-5400 ext. 2486.
May 11, 4-5 p.m. – Southeastern Illinois College’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) students and Practical Nursing (PN) students will have a pinning ceremony in the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center Theatre at SIC. There will be a light reception after in the VPAC lobby. The ceremony will precede commencement exercises on this day.
May 11, 7 p.m. – Commencement exercises will be held in Joseph Deaton Gymnasium. The 2018 Distinguished Alumnus, Dr. Nate Oldham will be the keynote speaker. A reception will follow in the Harry L. Crisp Student Center.
