The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake is announcing that a portion of the North Sandusky Bike Trail will be temporarily closed to all users for the removal of hazard trees. The portion of trail to be closed begins at the entrance to the North Sandusky Recreation Area and ends at the south gate near the Sandusky Cove bridge. This closure will begin on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. and is proposed to reopen on January 22, 2018. All portions of the Rend Lake bike trail that are affected by closures will be posted with upcoming closure dates.
