Last Thursday, a White County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was dispatched to the Probation Office regarding an individual violating her probation conditions.
The Deputy arrested 37-year-old Tara Keown. The outcome of her appearance before a judge last Friday is unknown, but the case in which she violated probation involved an Unlawful Use of Property charge from 2023.
On Saturday, Terrell Lock of Carmi appeared at the front door of the Sheriff’s Office, wanting to speak with an officer.
While talking with Lock, dispatch informed the officer that she had two active White County warrants. Both warrants stem from charges from 2021: Driving While License Suspended and Criminal Trespass to Real Property/Disorderly Conduct.
For both warrants, a bond was set at $400. Lock posted the bond and was released.
