Two Sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections Wednesday in White County Court

A 19 year old Carmi man, Joseph D. Tate will be spending the next 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after being found guilty of committing sexual penetration of a child under the age of 13. He will have to serve a minimum of 85% of the sentence and will be on mandatory supervised release for a period ranging between 3 years and the rest of his life. Tate’s case was investigated by the Carmi Police Department.

 

Jedadiah J. Locher, 36, of Crossville will spend the next 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections following his sentence Wednesday in White County Court. His stay will be followed by 2 years of mandatory supervised release. Locher was found guilty of a Class 2 Felony Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver. The case was investigated by the Crossville Police Department and the White County Sheriff’s Department.
