In White County Court Monday, two men were sentenced to Illinois Department of Corrections custody according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
46 year old James Houchin of Grayville received a four year sentence on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle, and a four year sentence on a charge of burglary. The two sentences will run concurrently. In addition, Houchin was sentenced to two years of mandatory supervised release on each count, and was ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs, and assessments, as well as restitution that will be determined at a hearing on June 12th. The Grayville Police Department was the investigating agency.
35 year old Kenneth Corner of Evanston, Indiana was also sentenced to four years in prison on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse that was investigated by the Illinois State Police. Corner was also sentenced to two years of mandatory supervised release following incarceration, and was ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs, and assessments.
