Two men who matched the description of the White County escapees were arrested Sunday morning in separate incidents.
Just before 5 am, White County Dispatch received a call about a stolen ATV. Keaton Pollard reported hearing the vehicle being driven off from behind his grandfather’s house. Then at 6:17 am, Marsha Humphrey reported a man drinking from the faucet behind her house in rural Crossville. Officers participating in the manhunt for the three escapees quickly converged in the area and found 21 year old Timothy Wilson of Crossville. A search of Wilson turned up a green glass pipe and a baggie containing crystal methamphetamine. The ATV was also located in the area and secured. Wilson was charged with theft, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond at the White County Jail.
Just after 10:30 Sunday, deputies searching in the Norris City area noticed a man matching the description of one of the escapees driving on County Road 400 E and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was identified as 33 year old Brian Ball of New Haven, who was arrested for driving on a suspended license. During a search of his person, an Altoids tin containing 15 hits of acid was discovered, and in Ball’s vehicle, a case containing a pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine was found. Ball was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the White County Jail without bond.
