The White County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a traffic crash Thursday morning that sent a Grayville man to the hospital.
According to the crash report, 19 year old Bryce Pool was driving a pickup on County Road 2600N one mile east of County Road 1200E in Gray Township when he failed to navigate a curve and drove into a ditch embankment around 9:35am.
Witnesses told deputies that Pool’s truck was travelling at a high rate of speed at the time of the accident. Two passengers in the vehicle were not injured, but Pool was transported to an area hospital by Air Evac helicopter.
Rick’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
