Thrilling Win for Carmi White County Bulldogs
Ethan Mahon’s basket as time expired lifted the Bulldogs to a thrilling 42-41 win at Edwards County Tuesday.
It was sweet redemption for the ‘Dogs, who had lost to the Lions on a 3-pointer with under a second to go earlier in the month at the Carmi-White County Invitational.
Mahon finished with a game-high 16 points, while Adam Phelps added 11, Ty Barbre seven, Peyton Edwards four, and August Saunders and Oakley Gee two each.
The Bulldogs are now 8-12 overall and 3-3 in conference play. They’ll travel to Johnston City Friday evening.
