Three individuals were sentenced in White County Circuit Court on methamphetamine charges according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
27 year old Misty Hazel of Shawneetown received a six year sentence on one count of possession of methamphetamine and a six year sentence for obstructing justice. The two sentences will run concurrently, and Hazel will be under mandatory supervised release for two years following incarceration.
23 year old Nickolas Jester of Ellery was sentenced to five years in DOC custody on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He will be under mandatory supervised release for one year.
37 year old Sarah Ann Ray of New Haven was sentenced to three years in prison on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and three years on a charge of obstruction of justice. Those two sentences will also run concurrently, and Ray will be under mandatory supervised release for one year.
All three defendants were represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle and sentenced by Judge T Scott Webb. According to Aud, all three are also facing charges in Gallatin County.
