The Black Diamond Conference released the 2024-2025 All-Conference teams on Tuesday, and three Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs received all-conference nods.
Torrie Rider, Caroline Simmons, and Addi Elliott were recognized for their tremendous junior seasons, where they led Carmi to a 19-10 record and their second-consecutive BDC Championship.
Torrie Rider was a dominant presence in the post all season long for the Lady Bulldogs. Rider averaged 8.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Caroline Simmons averaged nearly 13 points per game while shooting 46% from the field and 70% from the free throw line. Simmons was 2nd on the team in rebounding and assists per game.
Addi Elliott averaged 12.6 points per contest while shooting 35% from beyond the arc this season. Elliott led the team in field goal percentage, shooting 50.5% from the field.
“It was awesome for us to get three girls on the all-conference team this year,” said head coach Eric Dixon. “We had a great year, and those three played a huge part in it.”
Rider, Simmons, and Elliott will return to the hardwood for another season not only for basketball, but for volleyball as well this fall.
Congratulations to Torrie Rider, Caroline Simmons, and Addi Elliott on a great season!
