A 32 year old Carmi man, Nicholas Talley, was sentenced Monday afternoon in White County Court to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a Class 3 Felony conviction of Possession of Methamphetamine, followed by 1 Year Mandatory Supervised Release. He also received 4 Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a Class 4 Felony conviction of Domestic Battery. That will be followed by 4 Years Mandatory Supervised Release. Talley received a 4 Year Sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a Class 4 Felony conviction of Criminal Trespass to a Residence. That will be followed by 1 Year Mandatory Supervised Release. The sentences will run concurrently.
