Sweats for Vets
Washington Attendance Center has partnered with the Carmi Elks and hosting a “sweats for vets” clothing drive.
Beginning Monday, Oct. 29 and running through Nov 9, sweatshirts, sweatpants, insulated underwear and slippers will be collected and donated to local VA clinics, including Marion, Illinois.
Anyone that would like to help out by donating the mentioned items may drop them off at the Washington Attendance Center on Main Street, here in Carmi or the Carmi Elks Lodge located on Cherry Street.
