Sunday Car Crash
WROY/WRUL News is still awaiting the full details of a crash on Epworth Road that occurred Sunday.
According to unofficial reports and information on Facebook, at least seven people were injured in the crash, that occurred near the Maunie turnoff. Reports indicated at least two of the injured were transported by helicopter to an Evansville, Ind. hospital.
The Carmi Fire Department and several other agencies responded to the crash site, where the fire department assisted with extrication from the vehicles. There were two vehicles involved, but again, that is unofficial.
WROY/WRUL News expects to have full details on later newscast this Monday morning.
