Crawford County State’s Attorney Matthew Hartrich recently filed his nomination papers with the Illinois State Board of Elections for the At Large Circuit Judge vacancy in the Second Judicial Circuit.
The At Large Circuit Judge position was previously held by Judge David Overstreet and covers Crawford, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne, and White counties.
Hartrich has been an attorney since 2002 and was elected State’s Attorney in 2012. He was re-elected in 2016. Hartrich has previously been a Public Defender, an Assistant State’s Attorney, and an attorney handling civil litigation.
