ENDORSEMENTS
Endorsements for Illinois governor are beginning to pour in. The Chicago Tribune endorsed Republican incumbent Gov. Bruce Rauner as the only firewall to protect against one-party Democratic rule.
Crain’s Chicago Business endorsed Democrat J.B. Pritzker, saying the state is not better since Rauner took office.
One group that refrained from endorsing any candidate was the Illinois Retail Merchants Association. The group remained neutral as they did four years ago.
